We are a coaching and marketing services company who also offer “done for you” services in proximity beacon marketing, website design, copywriting, graphic design and other business services. We also offer an affiliate program to help you earn cash for sharing about our products or services.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

We currently use a contact form on this site for the optional purpose that a visitor may wish to reach out to us with a question or to inquiry about products or services. We also use calendly.com to schedule appointments. Users are advised to contact us directly by reaching out via email at harmoncoaching@gmail.com if you do not prefer to use the contact form or calendar scheduler. Only our admin team at Rebecca Harmon Coaching has access to any incoming contact form requests. We will not share or sell your info at any time unless required by law to share your info with the authorities pending an investigation. 

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Analytics

We collect analytics on website visitation using Google Analytics. 

Who we share your data with

We will not share your data with any third parties. Only the members of our admin team at Rebecca Harmon Coaching will have access to your data to utilize for serving you with your request for an appointment, or purchase of a product/service. Only in the event it is required by law will we have to release your info to the authorities in charge. 

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. All our services are used in confidentiality through our admin members of the team only. Any user information collected through your choice of making a purchase, requesting info, or making an appointment on the scheduler will only be accessed by our admin team and is not sent or released to other parties unless required by law. In this event only would your info be released to the authorities in charge pending an investigation.

Your contact information

Your personal contact information is only collected if you choose to voluntarily comment on the site. It will also be accessible by Rebecca Harmon Coaching admin only if you choose to use calendly.com to optionally sign up for an appointment through the calendar/scheduler, subscribe to our email newsletter, request info from a contact form, or if you use PayPal or any other payment gateway or purchasing software we may install on the site to receive payment for purchase or product/service order requests. We will continue to strive for absolute security and protection of your personal data, and will only contact you as prompted when you ask for an appointment, request info, reply to our newsletter, or make a purchase. 

Additional information

How we protect your data

We are proactive in protecting your data by utilizing a secure socket layer (SSL) on the website as well as working only with third parties that also take data protection seriously using SSL and other measures of security. We currently have security software in place to help prevent data breach and will continue to build upon it as necessary. 

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the event of an identified data breach, we shall contact all users by email (if provided) to alert you to the situation within 12 hours and will inform you of any additional findings as soon as possible. 

What third parties we receive data from

We may receive your name, email, or phone number if you choose to optionally include that info when using calendal.com as our appointment calendar/scheduler. We may also receive access to your name, email, address, phone number when making a purchase through PayPal or other payment gateway we may use on the site. We may receive your contact name and email when requesting more info through a contact form on our site. Please refer to the privacy policies of our third party providers for further details.

What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data

We do not currently use a form of profiling or automated decision making regarding user data. 

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

Disclosure: Rebecca Harmon Coaching will not use your personal data in an unlawful manner. We pride ourselves in serving you with the customer’s best interests in mind.
